Well after reading the title you might be a bit confused, I’m mentioning the professional battle between the two and not any personal fight ! It’s expected that both Surya’s Maatraan and Vijay’s Thuppaki might be battling in the box-office. While Maatraan’s audio launch is expected this month, Thuppaki’s teaser is likely to be released after solving the title problem for Thuppaki (Murugadoss mentioned this in his latest tweet).
Well both Maatraan and Thuppaki are expected to release on August 15th 2012 (Independence Day).
The same situation aroused the previous year, when Vijay’s Velayudham and Surya’s 7aam Arivu were released on the same day for Diwali. The clash will be interesting to watch as Maatraan will be Suriya’s biggest movie till date and with A.R.Murugadoss combination with Vijay.
