Music Director Vijay Antony turned as an actor through 'Naan'. Naan which was also his 25th movies as composer received good reviews and did well in the box-office. Now the music director is doing an another film as hero. Vijay Antony's next movie has been titled 'Thirudan' .

Vijay in Yohan Adhyayam Ondru

Yohan Adhyayam Ondru was supposed to be director Gautham Menon's next movie with actor Vijay. Now it has been officially announced that the project has been dropped. Gautham Menon expressed the news in the microblogging site. His next movie now remains unknown. He also confirmed that Actor Vijay's next movie will be with Director Vijay.

Thillu Mullu 2 is a remake of Rajinikanth's 1981 blockbuster laugh riot 'Thillu Mullu’. Thillu Mullu 2 stars Shiva, Isha Talwar in the lead roles. Prakashraj, Kovai Sarala, Ilavarasu, Manobala, Sathyan are set to play pivotal roles. Shiva will take over the role of Rajini.

Neerparavai is an upcoming movie directed by Seenu Ramasamy. Neerparavai stars Vishnu, Sunaina in the lead roles. Other actors Saranya Ponvanan, Nandita Das, Thambi Raamaiyah play the supporting roles. The movie is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Sundarapandian is actor-producer Sasikumar’s next movie after Poorali. Sundara pandian is directed by S.R.Prabhakaaran who worked as an assistant director to Sasikumar. Sundarapandian will be Prabhakaran’s debut as director. The movie is produced by M Sasikumar’s Company Productions.

Paradesi is director Bala’s upcoming movie. Director Bala is known for his movies like Sethu,Nandha, Pithamagan,Naan  Kadavul. After decent success with his most recent venture Avan Ivan, Bala is back with Paradesi. Unlike his earlier movies which took a lot of time to complete Paradesi’s shooting was completed in 80 days and the movie moved into post-production works.

Yohan Adhyayam Ondru is an upcoming Tamil movie. The movie is set to be directed by Gautham Menon.  Gautam Menon is well known for his hits Minale, Vettaityadu Vilaiyadu,Varanam Aayiram,Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. Vijay is set to start the movie after completing his movie Thupakki. The shooting for the movie is yet to start.

Saattai is an upcoming Tamil movie written and directed by M.Anbzhagan. He worked as an assistant director to Prabhu Solomon. Saattai stars Samuthirakani, Thambi Ramiayaah newcomers Ajmal Khan, Swasika in the lead roles. D Imman has scored the music while Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics for all songs. Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga is director Pandiraj’s next venture after Marina.  The director who has tested out with different genres in Pasanga,Vamsam and Marina is back with “Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga”. The movie will feature actor Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan as male leads.

Thedinen still

Thedinen is an upcoming Tamil movie. Thedinen is directed by Aasi Soundar. Thedinen stars Shakir, Divya Nagesh , Laxmi Nayar in the lead roles. Shakir makes his debut as hero . Shakir is the son of popular playback singer Mano. Ilanthirayan has scored the music. The movie is being shot, while some songs have been completed. Singers Mano, Vel Murugan , Haricharan have lent their voices for the songs.

Mirattal is a bilingual movie to be released in Kannada and Tamil. Mirattal stars actor Vinay and Sharmila Mandre in the lead roles. Santhanam plays the role of a comedian. The movie is directed and produced by R Madhesh. Popular actors Prabhu, Ganja Karuppu, Pradeep Rawat, Mansoor Ali Khan, Pandiarajan and Uma Padmanabhan play the supporting roles. 

Vijay, who is well known for his skills as a singer, hasn’t sung for a quite a long time now. The latest buzz for Vijay fans is that Vijay has sung a song for his upcoming movie Thupakki. Music for Thupakki has been composed by Harris Jayaraj in which Vijay has sung the song along with singer and actress Andrea. Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics for the song.

Director Imman revealed the track list for his upcoming movie Kumki through his Twitter account. There are six songs and the rest are soundtracks. Tamil movie Kumki is directed by Prabhu Soloman and features debutant Vikram Prabhu ,son of actor Prabhu. The audio launch of Kumki is expected to take place on July 26th 2012.

Shankar’s upcoming movie’ I’ goes on the floor today as its shooting begins from today on July 15 2012. The movie is directed by Shankar and stars Vikram, Santhanam while Amy Jackson is expected to play the female lead.  Earlier it was reported that actress Samantha had opted out of the movie. Kumki is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Prabhu Solomon who rose to fame after his super hit Mynaa. Vikram Prabhu makes his debut in this movie. He plays the male lead. Actor Vikram Prabhu is the son of Tamil actor Prabhu and grandson of actor Sivaji Ganesan.  Kumki is expected to be a rural flick. Actress Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead while Thambhi Ramaiyah plays the supporting role.

Thagararu is actor Aurlnidhi’s next movie. The movie was earlier titled Sambhavum. But Sambhavum is now changed as Thagararu!  The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies.

While there has been many questions raised on whether K.V.Anand's Maatraan has been vehemently copied from ‘Stuck on You’ a 2003 Hollywood comedy movie. Maatraan's teaser raised the doubts of critics. (See also: Maatraan Teaser Video ) After a number of accusations made on K.V. Anand the director has come out breaking his silence. In the micro blogging site Twitter K.V. Anand also posted a serious of tweets to clarify the issue. 

As reported earlier (Read: Santhanam with Powerstar) Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya movie launch happened yesterday.  Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya stars Powerstar Dr Srinivasan, and comedian Santhanam in the lead roles. The film is likely to be a humor flick. Vishaka will play the female lead. Other supporting roles will be played by VTV Ganesh, Sivashankar, 'Pattimandram' Raja, Mayilsamy, comedian Kovai Sarala and Devadharshini.

Ammavin Kaipesi, puzzled? Well this is Thankar Bachan’s upcoming movie title. Thankar Bachan who gave hit  movies packed with rural Tamil culture such as Azhagi, Solla Marantha Kathai, Pallikoodam,Onbathu Roobai Nottu is back with Ammavin Kaipesi.The movie’s final schedule is going on.

Thaandavam is an upcoming Tamil movie. Latest news from Vikram’s Thaandavam is that the mvoie's shooting has been completed.  UTV Motion Pictures’s Dhananjayan Govind tweeted that “So Happy to receive the SMS from Dir Vijay that Thaandavam’s shooting got over last night & film is finished in 90 days time. Great work”.
