Tamilnadu Film Director’s Association (TANTIS) has started a new website to post their latest updates on Tamil cine industry. The directors’ association website which is recently launched contains latest updates on latest Tamil movies. The site has interesting information about Tamil cinema from 1931 to now . It displays information about a director in the section ‘Director of the week’.

A.L.Vijay’s Thandavam’s audio launch was released in a grand style yesterday. Thandavam stars actors Vikram, Amy Jackson, Anushka in the lead roles. Thambi Raamaiyah, Saranya Ponvanan,Comedian Santhanam, MS Bhaskar and Lakshmi Rai play the other important roles. The movie is directed by A.L. Vijay who also directed Vikram’s previous hit Deiva Thirumagal.  Thaandavam is Vijay’s fifth movie. Music is composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar. Thaandavam turned out to be G.V’s 25th musical.

Samuthirakani’s Saattai’s audio launch is expected to take place on August 20. Imman’s music in Kumki got heaps of praise for his songs. Saattai is directed by Anbazhagan.

Hansraj Saxena the former deputy manager of Sun Pictures is back into news again. He has started his own production company under the banner name of "Sax Pictures".

Sax Pictures will be distributing Charulatha in Tamil, which stars actress Priyamani in dual roles. Charulatha was produced by GlobalOne studios. The tri-lingual movie is set to be released on August 15 2012. 

Director A.L. Vijay’s Thaandavam shooting was competed days ago (See: Thaandavam completes shooting) and the movie’s audio launch is set to be released on August 15th 2012. Thaandavam stars actor Vikram, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai and Jagapati Baabu. Nirav Shah handles the cinematography while G.V.Prakash Kumar has scored the music. The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Thaandavam is set to be released by UTV Motion Pictures.

Anirudh Ravichander well known for his song ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’ is back into news again. After his successful debut in 3, the composer -singer has gone out with his next single Ai Dil mere. Anirudh uploaded the song in youtube yesterday and the Hindi song has gone viral.

Kumki audio launch date has been announced today. The launch will feature 'Ulaganayagan' Kamalhaasan as the special guest. Kumki features debutant Vikram Prabhu, grandson of ‘Nadigar Thilagam’ Sivaji Ganesan and son of actor Prabhu.

‘I’ will be Director Shankar’s next Tamil movie. ‘I’  in Tamil  has several meanings such as beauty, king, guru and astonishment. The movie is expected to romantic thriller. 

Cast and Crew of Tamil movie I:

'I' stars actor Vikram , comedian Santhanam , Suresh Gopi and Ramkumar. Shankar has joined hands with writers Suba (D. Suresh and A.N. Balakrishnan) and ace cinematographer P.C.Sreeram.  Antony will be the editor of the movie. Music will be composed by A.R.Rahman and the movie will be produced by Aascar V.Ravichandran. Santhanam with Powerstar

Recent details have emerged that comedian Santhanam is joining hands with actor Power Star Dr Srinivasan. The comedian has confirmed the news with several newspapers confirming it. The movie is expected to be titled 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa’. The name 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa’ emerged from a commercial. Other details of the movie have not yet been revealed. Powerstar srinivasan’s next movie will have huge expectations with his combination with Santhanam.
