After the recent news that shooting of Vikram’s Thaandavam is complete, the movie’s teaser is set to release on July 13th (On Billa 2's theatrical release). Thaandavam stars actor Vikram, Amy Jackson, Anushka Shetty, Comedian Santhanam and Lakshmi Rai.  The movie is directed by A.L. Vijay who directed Madrasapattinam and Vikram’s previous hit Deiva Thirumagal.  Music is composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer of the movie.

Oru Kal Oru Kanandi the Tamil movie referred as OKOK will now be released in Telugu. Owing to the success of the Tamil version the movie is set to be released in Telugu. The movie is directed by Rajesh and starred debutant actor Udhayanidhi Stailn who produced the film as well. Hansika Motwani played the female lead.

Ajith's Billa 2  second trailer was released two days ago; the trailer which was schedule to be released in Nana centenary Library was canceled due to Madras high court order asking the government to refrain using the library for hosting function, due to which the movie makers released it online via youtube. Billa 2 trailer has received more than 5 lac views and now is trending in the first place in India. It faces stiff competition from Jism 2 trailer and Ranbir Kapoor’s Barfi trailer.

Champions League t20(CLT20) is jointly organized by the BCCI, CA, CSA. The inaugural edition of CLT20 stared in 2008. Now CLT20 2012 is to be held in South Africa. This year the tournament will be hosted by South Africa which hosted the tournament in 2010. Meanwhile India hosted the tournament in 2008, 2009 and 2011.

The venues for CLT20 2012 have been finalized and the tournament will be held from October 9 to 28. The venues are Cape Town, Johannesburg, Centurion and Durban. This time the top four IPL teams have gained direct entry. A total of 7 teams have made direct entry into the tournament.

Well after reading the title you might be a bit confused, I’m mentioning the professional battle between the two and not any personal fight ! It’s expected that both Surya’s Maatraan and Vijay’s Thuppaki might be battling in the box-office. While Maatraan’s audio launch is expected this month, Thuppaki’s teaser is likely to be released after solving the title problem for Thuppaki (Murugadoss mentioned this in his latest tweet).
Well both Maatraan and Thuppaki are expected to release on August 15th 2012 (Independence Day).

As Surya's Maatraan and Vijay's Thuppaki are headed to release in the same day (August 15) the battle in microblogging site twitter kicks off with some punch as a user apparently a Suriya fan tweeted mentioning to A.R.Murugadoss twitter’s account saying: “Maatraan going to rule this year.. Others just stay away from it… SURIYA=CLASS=MASS”. Murugadoss hit back replying “Paappa Thalli Poi Vilaiyadu”. Murugadoss’s tweet was a massive hit and was retweeted in hundreds. Vijay’s Thuppakki seems to have been in trouble as the move makers have been subjected to refrain from using the title ‘Thuppakki’. The order was passed by the Chennai City Civil court. The petitioner who is the producer of an upcoming movie title ‘Kalla Thuppakki’ says that the tile ‘Kalla Thuppakki’ was registered in 2009 and had started a movie under the title.

Tamilnadu SSLC Results 2012:

Tamilnadu SSLC Results 2012  (Tamilnadu Class 10 Results) are to be announced on June 4^th 2012. The Minister for School Education N.R.Sivapathy made the announcement on May 13^th 2012.  Around 10, 84,075 students wrote the exams that finished on April 23^rd 2012.  The results are widely awaited by the students and parents. Results would be announced at 1.30 P.M.

Recently around 7 lakh 63 thousand students wrote the Tamilnadu +2 Higher Secondary exams (both Matric and State board)  in 2012 .  The exams started on March 8^th and ended on March 30^th 2012. The correction of answer sheets is taking place in different centers across Tamilnadu.  It has been said that due to lack of teachers for other languages like Urdu the correction of papers have got delayed. The correction work is expected to end on May 2^nd 2012. The results are tentatively expected to be announced in the  third week of May.  

Update 3/5/12:The results will be officially announced on May 22nd 2012 at 11.00 P.M.

Aircel Chennai Open is a Tennis tournament conducted annually.
