While there has been many questions raised on whether K.V.Anand's Maatraan has been vehemently copied from ‘Stuck on You’ a 2003 Hollywood comedy movie. Maatraan's teaser raised the doubts of critics. (See also: Maatraan Teaser Video ) After a number of accusations made on K.V. Anand the director has come out breaking his silence. In the micro blogging site Twitter K.V. Anand also posted a serious of tweets to clarify the issue.
He also mentioned that Maatraan is unique and said that people must watch Mataraan before they watch movies on similar conjoined twins such as ‘Stuck on You’, ‘The Peach Tree’ (Korean movie), ‘Alone’ , ‘Twin falls Idaho ‘etc.
