Osthi Tamil movie Simbu, music,Audio Launch Cast,Crew,Release Date

Osthi is the next movie for actor Simbu after his previous film Vaanam failed to do any wonders. Osthi’s audio launch and music release is scheduled to take place on October 6, 2011(update: On October 19th 2011). Osthi is a remake of the Salman Khan’s Bollywood  blockbuster Hindi movie
Dabangg. Osthi has been directed by S.Dharani who gave some big hits such as dhill,Ghilii. The music director of osthi is composer Thaman. The movie is produced by Mohan Apparao and T Ramesh . Editing has been done by V.T.Vijayan.

Actors and Cast of Osthi:

The hero of Osthi Simbu will be playing the role of a cop. The female lead of Osthi will be played by Richa Gangopadhyay who is also the heroine in Dhanush’s Mayakkam Enna. Osthi also  features hero Jithan Ramesh who is likely to play as Simbu’s brother in the movie. The Comedy is managed by actors Santhanam and Mayilsamy. Actor VTV Ganesh is expected to play a role . Ace actors Nizhalgal Ravi and actress Revathi , Sarnaya Mohan are also in the key cast. Sonu Sood the villain of Arundhathi will play the role as in the original Dabanng. There were a lot of rumors circulating about the item number included in the movie. Intial reports claimed that Katrina kaif will be doing the item song but Bollywood hot actress Mallika Sherawat was finalized for the item number.

The trailer of Osthi is expected to be released along  the Osthi music release. Osthi is expected to release on Diwali. If so it’s a dual bonus for Richa Gangopadhay. Watch out Simbu fans!
