Tamil Director Rajesh Biography and Movies List


Rajesh Muthukumarasamy known as Director M Rajesh is a Tamil director. He is known to make movies of comedy – love genre. He made his debut with ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and has completed three movies till now. All three movies were box-office hits. He is a graduate in Electronics and communication engineering. Later He worked as an assistant director to Vijay’s father Chandrasekhar. All his movies have featured a guest appearance by a hero in the end.

Siva Manasula Sakthi (SMS):


Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009) is a comedy love story. SMS was Director Rajesh's first movie as a director. It starred actor Jiiva, Santhanam and actress Anuya.

The plot starts off with Siva (Jiiva) and Sakthi (Anuya) a meet in a train when they introduce each other. Siva claims that he is an army officer and Sakthi introduces her as an airhostess. Siva tries to meet her again and he is irked, when he finds that Sakthi is a radio jockey not an airhostess as she mentioned. Anuya finds out that Siva is a courier boy and he has tricked her. The story continues with frequent fights between Siva and Sakthi along with the comedy of Siva’s friend Vivek (Santhanam) whose phone is often broken by Siva. After Siva makes a brawl in Sakthi’s office Sakthi sends a man to get Siva out. Annoyed by her actions Siva decides to leave her. Things change when Sakthi’s father finds a guy for Sakthi , Arun (Arya) . Arun accidently gets introduced to Siva as Sakthi’s close friend. Sakthi realizes Siva’s true love when he mentions Sakthi good qualities and doesn’t mention anything wrong about her. The film ends comically when Siva asks Sakthi’s father to get her girl married to him. When he refuses Sakhti vomits indicating that she is pregnant, which as a result of sleeping with Siva. Finally they unite and when the credits roll up, it is shown that Siva is narrating the story to his kid.

Boss Engira Bhaskaran:


BEB (2010) directed by M.Rajesh stars Arya and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Bhaskaran (Arya),a callous guy is living with his mother Sivakami (Lakshmi Ramakrishnan), brother Saravanan (Panchu Subbu) and with his younger sister. Bhaskaran is trying to clear his arrears. His friend Nallathambi (Santhanam) has a barber shop. Bhaskaran meets Chandrika (Nayanthara) a lecturer, who catches him red-handed when he tries to cheat in his arrear exam. He falls in love with Chandrika but she disapproves it. Meanwhile Bhaskaran’s brother Saravan gets married to Chandrika’s elder sister Nandhini (Vijayalakshmi) .One day Nandhini criticizes Bhaskaran of not getting any job and putting the toll on his brother. On hearing this he decides to get out of his house and find a job. He takes the help of Nallathambi on setting up a Tutorial. They start the tutorial and find success, with it. Chandrika gets impressed by Bhasakaran and is ready to marry him but her father wants her to marry Shiva (Jiiva) a supposed teetotaler. He cites that Bhaskaran and his friend Nallathambi insulted him in a public meeting for not giving a loan to Bhaskaran. After some dramatic events Bhasakran and Chandrika unite.

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (OKOK):


OKOK (2012) directed by Rajesh was a complete comedy movie starring debutant Udhayanidhi Stalin who also produced the movie. The movie was a complete entertainer and was a huge success at the box office. Covered with a simple plot the movie went along with the comedy of Santhanam- actor Udhayanidhi Stalin and the comical love making scenes between Udayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwani.
